It's My Birthday (Week), But You Get the Presents!

My 27th birthday (ah!) is Thursday, but that doesn’t mean I get to have all of the fun!
All of my wonderful readers are part of what made my 26th year on this earth such a fabulous one. (Losing 50 pounds didn’t hurt, either!)

Last night - followup
I stayed out of the junk. The cookies and chocolate and candy did not pass my lips.
I did, however, make a salad and have some cheese on it (which is treat-like to me) AND I had 5 dried apricots.
So altogether could have been a lot worse.

my next challenge
i’m going to kill time at my parent’s house before dinner which is otu somewhere that i can make healthy choices easily.
my parents have great snack food.
i will not snack on stupid food. i can have some veggies from the fridge - even a little salad if i’m starving - but i’m staying out of the junk (which includes non-paleo hummus etc).

I’ve been eating clean/paleo, crossfit and generally doing okay lately. But with a few significant “lose control” slip ups. Like, that Costco Apple Pie Saturday ngiht was not worth eating. and I knew it. But I didn’t care.
I want to start caring again. For me that means journaling. So I’m getting back to it.
